Wondering how it works to hire a painter? Every job is different. But typically, MN Painting and Drywall guides you through this process.

We’ll take a look at your project, discuss your needs, and estimate the costs and timeline. MN Painting and Drywall prides itself on accurate estimates–the price we bid is the price you pay in most circumstances. There’s never any pressure to buy or sign a contract. If you’re submitting an insurance claim, we will provide any paperwork you need. 

We’ll work together to schedule your project. We’ll do our best to get started as soon as possible, although our availability changes throughout the year. You’re welcome to be home while we work, but you don’t need to be–we’re licensed and insured, so we can work solo at your home or job site. Typically a 25% deposit is due at the time of scheduling. 

Based on your unique project needs and color choices, we’ll purchase high-quality materials from our network of specialized suppliers. We use low VOC non-toxic materials whenever possible. If you like, you can buy your own paint and finishes. We take every precaution to protect your floors, furniture, trim, and other belongings before we begin painting, installing drywall, or doing any other work on your home. We carefully complete any demolition, if necessary.  

As we get to work, we welcome your input. Did we miss patching a tiny nail hole? How does the first coat of paint look? We communicate throughout the project to ensure we’re meeting your expectations. 

After the project is complete, we ensure your space is left clean and organized. We clean up any dust or mold using HEPA vacuums and filters. Then we’ll inspect the results together and make sure you’re satisfied. Finally, you enjoy the results and submit the final payment.
